  • 2019 Chillicothe Klondike Derby Free Hat Deadline Extended to Noon Tuesday December 18

    Any Scout or Scouter that registers and pays by by noon on Tuesday December 18 will receive the free participant stocking cap! Please check out the information guide, as there is some pre-event lashing homework for sleds teams that needs to be completed, and some additional supplies to be brought for the shelter building station.
  • 2019 Northern Tier Klondike Derby

    2019 Northern Tier Klondike Derby for Blue Jacket, Bullskin Trail and Lagonda Districts will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Melvin Miller Park in Urbana.   • 8 Weeks Away - Chillicothe Klondike Derby

    2019 Chillicothe Klondike Derby is less than 8 weeks away - January 25-27, 2019. To receive a free hat, Scouts and leaders must register by Friday, December 14.   • Chillicothe District Merit Badge Trail Drive

    The Chillicothe District Merit Badge Trail Drive will be held on Feb. 2, Feb. 16 and March 2, 2019 at the Greene County Career Center from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm each of those dates.   • Class of 2018 Eagle Scout Recognition Banquet

    The Class of 2018 Eagle Scout Recognition Banquet is February 24, 2019 at 1 pm at Soin Medical Center, Kumar Conference Center (3535 Pentagon Blvd., Beavercreek, OH 45431).   • Fundamentals of Training and Trainer’s Edge Training Course

    The Fundamentals of Training and Trainer’s Edge Training Course will take place March 30, 2019 from 8 am to 5 pm at the Camp Birch Turner Conference Center.   • Merit Badge Counselors Needed for NTMBTD

    The 2019 Northern Tier Merit Badge Trail Drive is looking for Merit Badge Counselors. If you are able to help, please contact DL Kaufman at Damon.Kaufman@scouting.org.   • Provisional Scouts for Boy Scout Summer Camp

    There will be a Provisional Troop for each week of Boy Scout Summer Camp. If any Scouts wish to register as a Provisional Scout, please contact Tara Corns at 937-325-6449 x101 or tara.corns@scouting.org with the week you wish to attend. Volunteers from Chillicothe District are going to be the adult leaders for these units each week.
  • Tecumseh Council Climbing Training

    Tecumseh Council will be running another climbing director training program at Camp Birch April 13-14 & May 4-5 from 9 am to 6 pm at the Camp Birch Climbing Tower. This training is the first step in a Local Level II Climbing Instructor training.   • Wood Badge Course

    The 2019 course will be held at Camp Birch August 16-18 and October 11-13. The course requires attendance at both sessions starting at 7:30 am Friday through 5 pm Sunday.
