Outstanding Youth of the Year Award

(There will be three awards given – Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Venturer/Explorer)

Procedures:

Address completed nominations to Outstanding Youth of the Year, Tecumseh Council Boy Scouts of America, 326 S. Thompson Ave., Springfield, OH 45506.
The recipients will be personally contacted by the Selection Committee and invited to the Council Recognition Dinner that will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Springfield, Ohio.
Answer all questions on the nomination forms (“see attached” is not an acceptable answer).

Requirements (all nominees must):

Nominee will be at least 7 years of age, but less than 21 at time of selection.
Have demonstrated leadership activities in Scouting and a strong record of participation in activities outside of Scouting.
Must be an active registered member/participant in the Tecumseh Council Boy Scouts of America.
Nominations must be received by April 16, 2012.
Nominees who have received the award in previous years may not be nominated again.
