Mad River Knife proud partner of Wolf-Bear weekend

Mad River Knife & Supply in Bellefontaine is sponsoring this year’s Wolf-Bear Weekend at Camp Birch, July 27-29, 2012.

David LaRoche, owner, has long been a supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, as well as a participant as a youth in Scouts. He and his wife, Deanne are both members of Troop 94 and Pack 937 and have two sons in the Scouting program, Eric, who’s a Star Scout in Troop 94 and Donnie, a Wolf Cub in Pack 937.

The company sells many related items, with some of the industry’s best pocket knives, including Case, Kershaw, Cold Steel, Gerber, CRKT,  ESEE, Estwing, Havalon, Condor, Smith & Wesson, Buck, Mora, Wenger, Spyderco, Zero Tolerance and SOG, as well as several others.

“If you need a high-quality knife for yourself or your Scout at a great price, Mad River Knife has something for everyone,” said Jim Mason, Scoutmaster of Troop 94. “When a Scout talks about purchasing a knife, I recommend he visit the store to find the perfect one for him.”

Known for their prompt delivery and great deals, the family has taken the business from an internet based store in their kitchen to a website and prominent store-front location on Main Street in downtown Bellefontaine.
