Super Troop Program

The purpose of the Super Troop Program is to encourage and reward Tecumseh Council Troops who go the extra mile to deliver quality programming to their Scouts while supporting Tecumseh Council!

Requirements

1) Unit must hold a Family FOS presentation to do their part to fund Scouting in Tecumseh Council

2) Unit must sell at least $1,000 during the popcorn sale to help Scouts pay for summer camp and other activities

3) Over a two year period, unit must send an average of 50% of their Scouts to summer camp at Camp Birch to keep the summer camp tradition alive in Tecumseh Council

4) Unit must have an increase in membership from year-end to year-end to help Scouting grow

Recognition

1) Unit will receive a $10 discount per Scout on Boy Scout Summer Camp registrations at Camp Birch, if registered and paid for by the early bird deadline

2) Unit will receive free rank badges at the Tecumseh Council Scout Store

3) Unit will receive special recognition on the Tecumseh Council website

4) All registered Scouts and leaders will receive a Super Troop patch

Requirements effective in 2016 for Recognition in 2017
