Tecumseh Council partners with NTPRD Chiller to provide FREE ice skating opportunity for Scouts over Christmas break

The Tecumseh Council is proud to announce a great new partnership with the new NTPRD Chiller Ice Rink that recently opened in Springfield.  The Chiller Ice Rink just signed an agreement to be the Skating Merit Badge Sponsor for the Tecumseh Council and offer opportunities for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venture Crew members to skate at their facility.

The first opportunity in the partnership will take place on Monday, December 30 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.  The opportunity to skate at the Chiller will be FREE (including skates) for current Scouts and $5 (which includes skate rental) for adults, leaders and other family members.  Scouts will need to bring something to identify themselves as a member of a Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop or Venture Crew.  This can include a uniform shirt, Class B shirt or current membership card.

You will need to RSVP for this opportunity.  This this is the first time that The Chiller has hosted this type of event they want to make sure that they have enough staff on hand to work with our Scouts and families.  To RSVP please email David Mauch at [Click for member's page] and let him know the names of the people that  will be attending from your unit.

The deadline to RSVP is Friday, December 27.
