2013 National Jamboree patch collection – one of each

You are bidding in this silent auction for a one-of-a-kind patch collection, with 48 patches included that were not previously available for purchase to the public. Funds raised will go directly to the council contingency attending this year’s Jamboree. Many of these patches which have been previously released to the public have recently sold for more than $100 each in online auctions.

If these patches were to have been available for retail, the cost would have been nearly $600, but you now have the opportunity to buy all 71 patches, plus 2 additional patches only available here. Also note, we have sold more than 95 percent of the Scoutcraft patches within the first five days of receiving them.

*** A recent online auction just concluded with a version of this set offering 71 patches and it sold for $612.54 ***

To place a bid, send an e-mail to Jim Mason at [Click for member's page] with the subject line JAMBOREE PATCH AUCTION, or stop by the council office to see the patches in person during the auction. Phone in your bid at (937) 325-6449 and make sure you leave your name, bid amount and contact information.

2. SCOUTCRAFT SETS: The featured sets below include the "Contingent - Light Blue Boarder set" (LE110) and the "Trader - black boarder set" (LE200). These patches nearly sold out within the first week available, and have seen the price in online auctions skyrocket:

2. FUNDRAISING SET: Pictured below are the "Fundraising set" patches featuring the artwork of Eagle Scout Same Molton. This set includes 4 JSP, 1 centerpiece, OA Flap with moving propellers, OA full pocket, and limited edition mylar threading "Grimes Flying Lab" patch, previously made only available for purchase in one of the LE 50 framed sets:

3. CONTINGENT & MYLAR PATCHES: Pictured below on the left are the 3 different "Contingent" patches, featuring the Madonna on the Trail, National Highway Route 40, Lunar lander, Tecumseh in canoe, and Wright Flyer. One of these is the Boy Scout Troop patch with BSA logo on canoe tip. One of these is the Venture Crew patch with Venture logo on the canoe tip. The third is marked "STAFF" on canoe and given to council volunteers, who worked at the jamboree. Additionally, under each of the "Contingent" patches is the super rare "TECUMSEH COUNCIL RED STRIP" patch only given to contingent members to wear under the "contingent" patch on their uniform - you get 3 of this hard-to-find collector's item. On the right side of the left photo: Tecumseh "Oldschool" JSP - only given to leaders for distribution at the jamboree; Tecumseh in a canoe with cutout shape; and, "Camp Luke" featuring two Native Americans at a campfire.

In the photo below on the right, the top patch is the  limited edition mylar threading "Grimes Flying Lab" patch, previously made only available for purchase in one of the LE 50 framed sets; the Venture Crew "TECUMSEH" with Mylar threaded letters, and regular "TECUMSEH" JSP for comparison.

4. VENTURE CREW PATCHES: Pictured below are the five Venture Crew designed patches with Crew back patch. Each JSP was designed by a member of the contingent Crew. The backpatch features a photograph of the council's inaugural Crew members in a unique patch. There were only 25 of this patch made available for sale to the public. The Crew centerpiece is expected to be delivered around July 10.

5. SCOUTCRAFT SPECIAL EDITION PATCHES: Pictured below are two similar looking but different Scoutcraft patches. They both feature the "Camp Birch Gateway" with Ranger Rob in center, surrounded by our camp dogs Goldie and Sam. One patch has "RARE 7TH PATCH" stitched in yellow; the other has "STAFF PATCH" stitched in yellow. The "RARE 7TH PATCH" was sold at a higher fee then all other Scoutcraft patches because of its limited edition. The "STAFF PATCH" was made only available to council volunteers attending the jamboree as staff.

6. SCOUTCRAFT GHOSTED SPECIAL EDITION PATCHES: Pictured below are 7 uniquely ghosted Scoutcraft patch sets. Each features the main 4 JSP and center piece, in unique colors. Only contingent members were given this patch at random, with each member receiving only 2 sets. Each color was limited to 20 of each patch produced, making these patches extremely rare.

7. 2010 NATIONAL JAMBOREE PATCHES: Below are two Tecumseh Council National Jamboree patches from 2010, featuring "Grimmy" from the popular "Mother Goose and Grimm" comic strip by area native Mike Peters. These patches are only be offered as part of this special silent auction.
