Basic Leader Training

 

 

It makes sense that boys who have a trained leader enjoy the program more.  They advance at a more rapid pace and in many cases w ill tell you their leader is the neatest person they know . Basic Leader Training is the f irst step in a w ide range of leader trainings that can make each of us a better prepared, safer and happier leader of young men and w omen. 

 Various Basic Leader Training courses are being offered this fall in Tecumseh Council.

 • On Saturday, October 16th in Bellefontaine, Blue Jacket and Bullskin Trail districts are offering Cub Leader Basic and Troop Committee training as well as Scoutmastership Fundamentals. The courses will be held at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center (2280 State Route 540, Bellefontaine) and will start at 9:00 am.

 · Also on October 16th Robert E. Hadley District will conduct Basic Leader Training beginning at 8:30 am.  The classes will be conducted at Bible Baptist Church located at 55 Megan Dr. in Wilmington.

 • On Saturday, October 23rd the Chillicothe District is conducting Cub Leader Basic, Troop Committee training and Scoutmastership Fundamentals. These training sessions will be held at the Xenia Church of Christ (444 Country Club Drive in Xenia) and will start at 9:00 am.

 • Then on Saturday, October 23rd, Lagonda District will offer a Cub Leader Basic Training Course at Faith in Christ Lutheran Church (1603 Moorefield Road in Springfield). This training starts at 8 am. All sessions will include Youth Protection Training. 

 Each weekend is open to all scout leaders in Tecumseh Council. Be sure to bring the $5 fee for materials and your own lunch. Lunch will not be provided! The coffee pot will be there however.
