Camp Birch Sugar Shack Maple Syrup

The maple sap is flowing at Camp Birch and the Sugar Shack is back in operation for the fourth season. We will be collecting sap from sugar maple trees between Wyandot campsite and the Swimming Pool area at Camp Birch daily from 3 to 6 p.m. during the week and 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The sap is then transported to the Sugar Shack at Fallen Timbers Campsite to be boiled and made into Maple Syrup. The syrup is then sold to support Camp Birch.

To schedule a tour, a time to come out and help for you or your unit, contact Carl Conover at or 937-562-1211.

Pure Camp Birch Maple Syrup is available at the Council Office, Camp Birch and the Sugar Shack.
