Good Turn for America is a national call to service by the Boy Scouts of America to address the issues of hunger, homelessness, and poor health in our nation. The BSA has teamed with some of the nation's most respected service organizations, including The Salvation Army, American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity, to provide volunteer opportunities for youth and adults to fight hunger, provide shelter, and teach healthy living habits. All BSA members and units can participate in this program. Units that report a Good Turn for America service project receive a certificate that allows them to purchase special Good Turn for America insignia at the Tecumseh Council Scout Shop. Detailed instructions on how a unit can report its projects can be found at the BSA's Good Turn for America website Good Turn for America. |
