Leave No Trace Trainer Course
There will be a 16-hour Leave No Trace Trainer’s Course offered at Camp Birch (near Yellow Springs, Ohio) Friday, April 20 thru Sunday, April 22, 2012. This course will give Participants the tools to teach up to a 1-day Leave No Trace training seminar. This course is a requirement for the new Boy Scout Troop Leave No Trace Leadership position. Scouts must be 14 to receive the Certificate from the Leave No Trace Center.
The cost of the course will be $45. This will include meals from cracker barrel Friday night thru breakfast Sunday. Camping fees and take home teaching resource materials are also included.
The deadline for signing up for the course is April 6 to allow time to order the resource materials for the Participants. There will be a 25 participant limit. Please register online on the Tecumseh Council website or use the universal registration form in the Totem and send it to the Council office with your payment or go to Council in person.
