Cub Scout Camp - July 16-20, 2018

Cost

  • Early Bird $TBA per Scout or sibling if paid in full by TBA
  • Regular Price $TBA per Scout or sibling if paid after TBA
  • Cost includes all activities, patch, t-shirt and lunch each day
  • Adults - no charge for required adults, additional adults (over the minimum required for youth protection) cost $TBA for the week per adult to cover the cost of food

The last day to register for camp is TBA.

Adult Leadership

Packs attending Day Camp should provide at least two adult leaders each day. There is no cost for these leaders. One leader must be a registered adult volunteer 21 years of age or older. The second leader must be at least 18 years of age. One additional adult for every five children should attend. Tiger Cubs must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Leaders accompany their group through daily activities, often joining in the fun. Please note: smaller Packs may be combined with others and larger ones may be split, so please plan accordingly. Additional adults over the number provided for youth protection cost $25 for the week per adult to cover the cost of food.

Medical Forms

Cub Scout Day Camp participants must complete Parts A & B of the Medical Form. The leader in charge of the Pack must keep the medical forms with them during Day Camp.

Webelos Resident Camp - July 1-7, 2018

Price includes a t-shirt, patch, all meals and all activities.

The Webelos Resident Camp Information Guide will be available soon! It will contain everything you need to know about Webelos Resident Camp at Camp Birch! 

Adult Leadership 

Each Unit receives two free adults. Additional adults are $45 each. Units are required to have enough adults to fulfill their ratio. All Scouts attending Webelos Resident Camp must be under the supervision of an adult who has agreed to be responsible for that Webelos Scout.                                                            

Just for Leaders - Scoutmaster Merit Badge Program - Adult Leaders are now on their way to being Scoutmasters, so now they can enjoy the Scoutmaster life in our Scoutmaster Lounge. Get free unending coffee, WiFi, air conditioning and computer lab, as well as flush toilets and hot showers!  

Medical Forms

All campers (Scouts and Parents/Leaders) must have parts A, B & C of the Medical Form. Part C requires a Doctor’s signature so please plan accordingly. Medical Forms will be due at the 10 Day Out Meeting.

Wolf Bear Camp - July 6-8, 2018

Welcome to our Cub Scout and parent overnight program just for Wolves and Bears. The weekend includes programs and activities tailored specifically for both age groups, as well as other camp fun including: BB guns, archery, swimming, handicrafts, and boating!  Wolf Bear Camp is an opportunity for Cub Scouts entering 2nd and 3rd grades in the fall of 2018 to complete requirements for upcoming Wolf and Bear rank advancement. Programs tailored specifically for the targeted age groups will be offered. Tents are not provided.

Cub Scout Summer Fun Days

Back for Summer 2018!

Tents & Tiaras - Just for Girls - July 6-8, 2018

Put down you tiaras, pick up your tent, grab your glass slip...ah, hiking boots, and join us for our Fourth Annual Tents & Tiaras camp!

Just for girls and a parent, this camp is geared towards 6 to 14 years old. Now you can finally get to do all the things your brother has done at a camp just for you!

Activities include: archery, BB guns, boating, climbing, fishing, building fires, campout cooking, handicrafts and more. 

Whether it’s building a fire or building a shelter, you get to do it all. Learn about Nature and Ecology, Leatherwork, or Basketry. The possibilities are endless.

Campership Application

To ensure that every boy can attend camp regardless of financial resources, camperships are available to any Scout registered in Tecumseh Council for up to one third of the cost of camp. The Scout’s family and Unit Leader must complete this application and return it to the Council Service Center by TBA. Unit leaders will be notified of approved camperships by TBA. Camperships are awarded on a basis of family need. Application does not guarantee approval.
