- Life-To-Eagle - 2 hour session immediately following the last session on the 3rd day, Star Scouts and ANY Leaders/Parents welcome).
Scouts should attend each of the 3 days as much as possible. Extra fees should be paid DIRECTLY to the the Merit Badge Councilor on the 1st day. It is up to the Scout to work with a Merit Badge councilor DURING the Trail Drive for any Session time missed via (email, phone). All Merit Badge work should be turned in and completed by: April 1st (no fooling).

** IMMEDIATELY following the LAST session on the LAST day (~2 hours).
ADULT/VENTURING & OLDER SCOUTS- on March 10th, in the same location,
Red Cross Training - Adult/Child CPR/AED + 1st Aid
- 8:00 – 1 pm,
- Cost: $15 cash or check made out to Troop #71 (bring on Mar. 10th)
- What to Bring: Sack Lunch, water bottle, something to kneel on, a pencil to take the tests, and wear comfortable clothing.
- Class size limited to the first 20 participants, must have 5 minimum.
- MUST RSVP to sign up - Eilanna Price cell 829-0392
- ADULT TRAINING – Online during session 2 in the PC lab
HOW TO REGISTER for The TRAIL DRIVE
Sessions are to be selected from the Merit Badge schedule list on the last page.
Fill out the registration form completely. PLEASE PRINT!
List the Merit Badge classes on the registration form by Session, include alternatives if possible.
- Emergency Preparedness/First Aid NOTES: • It's recommended to complete 1st Aid for Tenderfoot to 1st Class Requirements, BEFORE starting 1St Aid or Emerg. Prep. MB.
- You MUST have 1st Aid MB completed by the END of the Emergency Prep MB.
- Robotics Merit Badge covers Advanced materials, and requires the Scout purchase a Robotics kit and will involve significant work between sessions, session size will be limited.
- A single Troop roster with Session info via email is acceptable from the Unit Leader / Committee Chair. Please submit to the council a hard copy with fees. - Send an electronic copy to: [Click for member's page] (for session confirmation only AFTER fee is collected).
- Please start Blue Cards for Scouts in your Troop.
- The MBC will collect BLUE cards on the 1st day.
- ALL Blue Cards will be returned to the Unit Leader along with a spreadsheet print-out within 2-3 weeks after the event (call/email DG Adams if you need an electronic copy earlier).
- MBC WIL be advised to NOT RETURN the Blue Card to the Scout, as I use them to confirm my electronic copy and a signed spreadsheet of sessions will be made available to unit leaders with unit Blue Cards.
REVIEW THE FEES & PRE-REQUIREMENTS FOR BADGES (if any)

- It is the Scout’s responsibility bring fees and Pre-Req's. to the MBC the 1st day.
- Additional MB time may be required for some merit badges - counselors will advise.
- MB Counselors are not obligated to counsel Scouts AFTER the event (Apr 1st).
- Final MB standings will not be updated AFTER they are made available to Scout Masters / Unit Leaders and the Council.
- Every effort will be made to give each Scout his preferred choice of classes

- Cinematography - Access to, or ability to work with a one or more Scouts outside of class that has access to, a video camera. A tripod Is also recommended. For editing purposes, access to a cassette recorder, a DVD recorder, or a computer with a DVD recorder and software may be required, but is not mandatory. No video or computer equipment is provided or available for loan, BRING YOUR MB BOOK.

- the 1st and 2nd Saturday in the cafeteria (slide screen available) please let me know.
- The concession stand will be open for Scouts to buy drinks/snacks
- Attendance does not mean participation; MBC can remove scouts for behavior problems.
- Scouts confirm your NAME/TROOP is on everything turned into MBC (make copies , it may not be possible to return them ).
• ATTENTION - Walk-IN’s or MB changes - it is the SCOUTS responsibility to get on the MBC roster for that class – not on the roster = NO MB RECORD!!!!!!.
• Life 2 Eagle** is only covered in the 3rd week, after the last session, room T.B.A (takes ~1-2 hours).
• TURN IN BLUE CARDS with Registration OR to the Merit Badge Counselor the 1st DAY Of THE NT MBTD!!!!
• No COPIER FACILITIES ON-SITE, come prepared with a Merit Badge book, a pencil/pen and paper.
