NEW! YPT Certificate Sent By Email 

Effective now, when completing the 4 modules of the Youth Protection Training course on the BSA Learn Center, the system will automatically email a PDF attachment of the Youth Protection Certificate to the email associated to your My.Scouting account! This YPT certificate will include the completion date and the expiration date. No more guessing when your YPT will expire, and no more waiting...

 

New Youth Protection Training 

No later than October 1, 2018, all new and currently registered leaders will be required to complete the updated training. Any other youth protection training expires September 30, 2018. While this may be inconvenient for some, it reflects the BSA’s commitment to the safety of all youth. New Training Requirement for All New Direct Contact Leaders 

Effective April 30, 2018 - all new direct contact leaders must complete Hazardous Weather Training to be considered position trained. The old WS81 course is being retired, to stay current with your Hazardous Weather Training henceforth you must take the new SCO_800 course.
